I made this speech recognition teleprompter because it can be difficult to use a regular teleprompter if you're recording videos by yourself. You have to start the teleprompter, start the camera and then get into position. The teleprompter will start scrolling even though you haven't started speaking yet. With a speech recognition teleprompter you can start it and it will wait for you to start speaking before scrolling. Also sometimes I like to go off script a little bit. This speech recognition teleprompter will stop scrolling and then listen for you to go back to the script.
